Rediscovered Gems

With the proliferation of media outlets online, I've stumbled across works that I've had produced over the past few years that have made their way onto the interwebs. I've hosted some of them on my website and they can be viewed there.

I've debated whether or not it's a sense of nostalgia that's not only causing me to revisit "old glories" but also to reconnect with past acquaintances. I tend to think it's more of an emergence from exile. I had been living a (relatively) insular life over the last several years, being involved in two consecutive long term relationships which took up a good deal of my time and energies.

Now that I've been single for a time, I've been able to reevaluate my life and refocus my energies and priorities. So I'm revisiting the past to pave the way for my future.

Fear of a blank page

For a writer, there's nothing worse than staring at a blank page...and by extension, I can't bear to have my newly-formed blog be one vast expanse of black screen with no words on it. But as it is, I've spent too much time setting this up, when I should be working on my screenplay, and the gym is also calling me. And all too soon, it will be suppertime and my boxer will be reminding me that it's time for dinner, followed by his evening walk to San Vicente.

So for now, I bid you adieu. I'm sure at some point I'll have something profound, humorous or even just mildly interesting to say, but until then..at least I've gotten a few words on the screen.

It has begun.
